Evening half year course Albertov 2009

It was my pleasure to teach this small group of people coming from European countries, from the US and also from Japan. The goal of the course was to get to A1 level in playful way. We managed to learn basics of grammar (akuzative, present and past tense, adjectives, genders), we practised a lots of basic speaking (phrases, dialogues, ability of making question), spelling. After work its sometimes not easy to study so we played a lots of speaking games together. I was happy that the course motivated some people to continue with the Czech.

  • Kristyna is a dedicated and brilliant teacher! Although I only took one evening course from her, it was enough to break down my fears of an unknown language and begin speaking and loving the language that was surrounding me. Thanks to Kristyna, I still enjoy listening to Czech and studying this unique culture even though I no longer live in Prague.

  • I think, the most efficient practice for foreign language is simply trying to speak, as my experience.
Also it’s difficult thing if you are not such a talkative person. Me neither.
But Kristyna can let students do it. We don’t need to worry for having mistake, broken Czech is fine during exercise. After through her lesson, I realized, I can try to speak in Czech without hesitation.
That’s one of the reason why I can speak Czech for my work.
