Evening Semestral Course for Beginners, Jan.-Apr.2011-Albertov

After many courses of mixed levels this group “felt like a breath of fresh air”as the group is very homogenous (total beginners from Turkey, Russia, Germany, Spain, Romania, Bulgaria and the US). The motivation of individual students are either to work here or the family life. My goal is to go step by step to A1 level and efficiently show how the Czech language works. We managed to go through the basic grammar (accusative, adjectives, present, past, future tense, basic and useful verbs and prepositons). We worked a lot with many texts (textbook “Step by step” , “Easy Czech”) and dialoguges(“Czech Express”) to absorb the Czech word order and to naturaly enrich the vocabulary. I led the students to get stronger in talking via lots of reading, listening and writing. I was very happy with the progress of the group and I hope we all liked the lessons.

  • Nejlepší kurz! Měli jsme zábavu a to jak ve třídě a po něm: byli jsme velká skupina! (Na zdraví, všem! Jak se máte?)
Naučili základy, dost se dostat kolem města, ale také základní gramatiku.

Naučil jsem, že pokud jste bulharsky, nejdelší řeka na světě je Nil.
Ale když jste českém, nejdelší řeka na světě je Amazonka.

    Všechno nejlepší Kristina,
    Na zdraví!

The best course! We had fun in the classroom but also after that (cheers everyone! How are you?).

Oh yes, if you are Bulgarian, the longest river in the world is the Nile; but if you are Czech, the longest river in the world is the Amazon!

    All the best Kristina!
    Cheers!

  • I agree with Todor that it was a wonderful course. We not only learnt Czech but also had so much fun. Kristyna is a very intelligent teacher, she knows how to make the classes fun, how to make us more interested in Czech language and Czech culture. It was the best decision to take this course from Kristyna. An exceptional learning process.
