Intensive Semestral course for Slavic people 2011

Does it sometimes happen that the group is a bit lazy? They don´t go to school and they don´t want to learn? But they sort of need Czech to live here or to study at university…And the teacher also needs to show that some work was done. How to cope with that?

This group taught me  a lot of how to be strict and insistent. Not that it wouldn´t be my nature…For the first time  I really applied these qualities within the tutoring. Lots of homeworks, groupworks, writing, grammar and discussions, lots of drill. Students were first fighting but then very soon they started to like the way we study and they could see their progress. Finally in the end of the course they said I was the best teacher. I can´t really say it was true, but it felt good:)
