This group of young people who are either planning to study at Czech universities or to work here using Czech language is very special to me.We work specifically on grammar which should jump from A1 to B1. It teaches me how to prepare big amount of good material and how to manage big group of people whose learning abilities are not always the same. Teacher has to be always prepared in case one student is ready and wants to work more. Its sometimes not easy to motivate so the teacher needs to come up with funny ways to keep the tempo very fast and improvement visible week after week. Lots of homework, essays, tests and also drill are helping us to build a wide basis to speak properly on a very high level. We make mistakes, but it is quite hard to switch from Russian or Ukrainian to Czech. They are sometimes similar but specificly regarding grammar they can be very different. We are working hard and in the meantime having fun (playing some short theater, singing Czech songs, going out for a beer.) Very interesting appeared sightseeing-tours through Prague guided by students.
